Narrative
According to Otto Reiss: "The oldest son Albert was born at Papuvka under a lucky star. The grandparents were well to do people (tenants of large farms belonging to the aristocracy were identified with the aristocracy and very much esteemed by the Jewish communities. Uncle ALBERT was brought up by a governess and sent to a college of economics in Breslau, Germany. Like grandfather he was over 6ft tall with very light brown hair and blue eyes. As a single man bachelor he started a business with petrol, paraffin and lubricating oils and employed my father, whom he treated rather badly, but promised him a partnership, when his business has grown and gave better profits."
"Soon after [Isidor left in 1885], uncle Albert married a girl of a Viennese Jewish Family Hermine born Rotter with a very large dowry. He invested and improved his business and when aunt Hermine's brother became Chairman of the 'Laenderbank', which was the largest bank in the Austro-Hungarian empire the expansion of uncle Albert's business and factory became so rapid that round the year 1900 he was already a millionaire and rubbed shoulders with some of the aristocracy, industrialists, politicians and was honoured with the title Kaiserlicher Rat (Royal Councillor)."
