William Felber and his family first came to the United States in June 1881. They lived first in Hoboken, New Jersey before returning to Vienna in the summer of 1883. On 21 September 1883, the family re-entered the United States on the ship "Main", arriving in New York Harbor. The ship manifest includes the following names:
