On Find-a-Grave:
Jewish War Veteran will provide a guard of honor at the funeral of Pvt Alfred Davidovitz at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Berkowitz & Sons, Inc. Funeral Home, 818 E. 105th Street. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery.
Pvt. Davidovitz, 21, was killed in action July 1, 1944, in Italy. He had enlisted in July, 1942. He was born here, attended John Hay High School and had worked for the Davis Baking CO.
Rabbi David L. Genuth of the Cleveland Jewish Center will officiate.
