        Mr. and Mrs. William Wilence of 470 West End Ave., New York City, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Marian Edna, to Samuel A. Jacobs, son of Dr. and Mrs. Murray Jacobs of 210 West 90th St, New York. Miss Wilence is a graduate of New York University, a member the the Pi Alpha Tau Sorority, and is employed by the War Department. Mr. Jacobs is a graduate of New York University and a member of the Sigma Epsilon Delta Fraternity. He is a bacteriologist and chemist and is engaged in a research project at the Sheffield Farms plant here.
