        Cecil Guinn Sullivan, 94, of 125 Fox Chase Road West, Asheville, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at the Oaks at Sweeten Creek.

        A native of Laurens, S.C., he was a retired librarian with New York University. He attended Hendersonville First Baptist Church. Mr. Sullivan was the son of the late Joseph Giroud and Lidie M. Miller Sullivan. He was the husband of the late Frances Cecilia Barth Sullivan. Surviving are his daughter, Jeanette Frances Sullivan of Hendersonville; grandchildren, Danielle Earley of Asheville, Abraham Greenberg of Hendersonville, and Michael Pinard of Duluth, Ga.; great grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Pinard, Samuel Eric Pinard, Natasha Catherine Earley, and Gabriel Logan Earley.

        A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Skip Fendley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
